About Ting Ho II

Located at 918 Front St #922, Uniondale, NY 11553, Ting Ho II operates as a chinese restaurant serving Uniondale in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under delivery restaurant, restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–10:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Ting Ho II at (516) 564-8363; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Uniondale is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Uniondale is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I have enjoyed their food for years. It is a family owned and take out. There is only one table and a couple chairs to dine in. Although the prices are higher than in the past, they are in line with current state of affairs. The food is great and the service is great.

I’ve lived in this area for about 10 years and have frequently ordered from this restaurantβ€”it’s always been my go-to for Chinese takeout. However, my recent experience has completely changed how I feel about this place. Two days ago, I walked in and ordered General Tso’s chicken with white rice and a side of fried plantains. When I got home and began eating, I discovered a bug in my food. I immediately stopped eating and called the restaurant. I was told to bring the food back for a refund. I brought the food with me to work the next day and stopped by the restaurant. I paid $24 for my order, but the woman at the front only gave me $14 back and told me I could leave. What followed was beyond unacceptableβ€”I was met with blatant disrespect and hostility. The woman began yelling at me at the top of her lungs, and two men came to the front and also started screaming at me. I was completely shocked and disturbed by how unprofessional and aggressive their response was. After being a loyal customer for years, I am truly at a loss for words. This experience was not only disgusting due to the bug, but also traumatizing because of how I was treated when I calmly tried to address the sit

Visited 9/25/24, 10/24/24, 3/12/25, experience for last day: Unfortunately, the food here is not amazing. The sesame chicken sauce tastes chalky and very dry. The fried rice is okay, and the egg rolls are decent. The workers are friendly and the prices are pretty good, but the food quality is relatively poor. I will not be returning, but I appreciate their efforts. Hopefully, their sesame chicken (particularly the sauce, the chicken itself is fine) is more "moist" and a sweet tasing sauce for an improved dish.

Worst food ? In the name of soup gave me salt water and noodles! Got sweet chicken with garlic soup sweet enough that can’t even eat. Please focus on improving food quality and write description about dishes. Here Spicy means so β€œsweet”
